Danhostel Aabenraa
The hostel which is established in 1937 and expanded in 1967 is located in a beautiful scenery in the Southern part of Aabenraa.
The buildings and facilities are continuously being maintained so that they appear nice and appealing, with some of the original surroundings.
The hostel is a part of the association Danhostel and is classified with 3 stars.
We have 70 beds in our hostel. There are up to 6 beds, toilet and sink on each room. Some rooms have additional shower too. There is a big dining room,
guest kitchen with cooking facilities, refrigerator and dining tables.
There is a cosy living room with fireplace and TV corner. From the living room
there is a room opening on the lovely terrace with a view of the inlet. Here you find tables and benches where you can enjoy barbeque food on the common barbeque.
There is access to washing machine and dryer and in the reception area you find sweets and soft drink machines and a computer with free Internet access.
On the camping site there is a playground for the children with a large air pillow for bouncing, swings and seesaw.
The hostel's closest neighbour is the South forest with hiking paths in beautiful and hilly terrain.
Southern beach with it's wide children friendly and sandy beach is just 800 m. away from the hostel.
